Vocational Education and Training (VET) studies focus on the development of industry-specific workplace skills, with pathways into apprenticeships, employment, TAFE or tertiary education.
Students at BHSSC have access to a wide range of VET courses, many of which are conducted onsite. Additional opportunities are provided to students through off-campus study with external providers such as Box Hill Institute.
VET qualifications can contribute towards VCE or VCAL certificates and the certificates issued on completion of the training course are industry qualifications. These qualifications are recognised nationally and some of the VCE VET certificates are the industry pre-apprenticeship qualification.
