Welcome to Box Hill Senior Secondary College, a unique Years 9–12 College located in the heart of Mont Albert North. Established in 1943, our College has a proud history of providing young people with opportunities to discover their strengths, pursue their interests and achieve success.
One of the things I love most about our College is that we recognise that every student is different, and that there is no single pathway to success. We understand that young people have different interests, talents and ambitions, and we believe their education should reflect this.
Whether a student is passionate about sport, the arts, trades, hands-on learning or academic study, we offer a range of opportunities to help them find their direction. From our specialist Sports Academy and Arts programs to our extensive on-site trade and VET facilities, VCE and VCE Vocational Major pathways, students can build a learning program that reflects who they are and where they want to go.
What makes our College particularly special is our small-school feel and the genuine relationships between our students and staff. We want every student to feel known, valued and supported. Our staff take the time to understand the young people they work with, celebrate their successes and help them navigate the challenges that come with growing up.
We treat our students as young adults, encouraging them to take responsibility for their learning, have a voice in their education and develop the confidence and independence they will need beyond school.
I am incredibly proud of our students, our dedicated staff and the welcoming, inclusive community we are continuing to build. Our students come from across Metropolitan Melbourne and beyond, each bringing something different to our College.
